A Glasgow firm of solicitors had a mesh setup that was leaving weak or unreliable coverage across two large offices and their breakout rooms. They needed dependable coverage and smooth roaming while staff moved through the space.
The installation
Use the right equipment in the right places.
We installed a UniFi gateway and two 8-port PoE switches, then deployed four customer-supplied U7 Pro access points where they delivered the coverage the offices needed.
A fifth access point was kept in reserve rather than fitted simply because it was available.
The outcome
Office-wide coverage without unnecessary kit.
The two large offices and breakout rooms were considered as one working environment. The result was blanket office coverage designed for fast roaming, without overspecifying the installation.
